HD-172 It is a medium surface area hydrophobic fumed silica that has been surface-modified with polydimethylsiloxane.
This treatment makes it extremely hydrophobic and has very different properties compared to non-treated silica. It has good enhancement and thixotropic effect, can be used in silicone rubber, silicone sealant, paint and coatings, adhesives, printing
ink and so on, and it's equivalent to Aerosil R_202
